Dominic Fritz, the leader of USR, discussed the growing tensions within the governing coalition, especially after the rejection of the magistrates' pension law by the Constitutional Court. In a broadcast on Antena 3, he acknowledged that the atmosphere at coalition meetings is far from healthy, stating that it affects their well-being.
Fritz emphasized that, although the coalition is not a "marriage of love" and there is no common vision for the country's future, it is crucial for pro-European forces to collaborate in the current critical context of Romania. He mentioned that, despite existing frictions and differing analyses on the issues to be resolved, the common goal is to make things work for Romanians.
