Vasile Dincu: "I have the feeling that we are living a new period of Swedish pleasures. We are not afraid of going into the Opposition."

The Vice President of PSD, Vasile Dîncu, stated that the party needs to close a project related to contesting the current government formula, emphasizing that the issue is not just Ilie Bolojan, but the failure to respect a political agreement with coalition partners. Dîncu mentioned that a temporary loss of positions in the Government could be compensated in the long term, but if the current situation is not beneficial for the party, it could lead to a significant electoral loss.

He suggested that PSD could benefit from a period in Opposition to reset itself, considering that the party has performed well in the past in this situation. Dîncu rejected the idea that PSD would be eclipsed by AUR in Opposition, stating that the competition is always for power. In the end, he warned that PSD must carefully manage its image and avoid frequent threats to leave the government without concrete actions.
