In a tense intervention, Diana Șoșoacă reported how she managed to stop the visit of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in the Romanian Parliament. She stated that she would not allow Zelensky to give a speech in Parliament, emphasizing that, as a parliamentarian, she has the obligation to "defend the sovereignty and independence of Romania." Șoșoacă declared: "If he dares to come to my Parliament, I will break his legs!" thus highlighting her firm stance against Zelensky's presence. She also mentioned that in Parliament she displayed the map of Greater Romania and shouted demands for the restitution of territories considered occupied, denouncing Zelensky with provocative epithets. These statements were made during a press release of the S.O.S. Romania party.
