Diana Șoșoacă, MEP and leader of the S.O.S. Romania party, will be heard on Friday at the General Prosecutor's Office in connection with accusations of legionary propaganda.

This was previously informed by prosecutors about her status as an accused, but she refused to declare. Attorney General Alex Florența requested the lifting of the parliamentary immunity of Șoșoacă, who is suspected of 11 crimes, including promoting the cult of individuals convicted of genocide and fascist ideas. Diana Șoșoacă denounced the Prosecutor's request as a "attempt at political execution." Over time, she has been involved in controversies related to physical and verbal violence, including tributes to dictator Nicolae Ceaușescu and legionary leader Corneliu Zelea Codreanu.
