Diana Buzoianu, the Minister of the Environment, stated today that the motion of no confidence initiated by PSD-AUR should not be supported by responsible parliamentarians, emphasizing that the vote should be in favor of Romanians, not party interests. Buzoianu mentioned that, in the event that the government led by Ilie Bolojan is dismissed, there could be a minority government. She criticized the opposition's initiative and emphasized that USR does not want to become a pocket party for PSD, and PNL seems to have the same position.
Buzoianu discussed possible political scenarios, including the formation of a minority government or a majority coalition with PSD. She also mentioned that early elections cannot be ruled out, although they are difficult from a constitutional standpoint. In her opinion, a minority government between PNL and USR could be a more responsible solution for Romania than a PSD government.
