Deputy Cristian-Emanuel Cîmpan announced on Wednesday that he has decided to leave the POT parliamentary group and will operate within the PSD group in the Chamber of Deputies. Cîmpan, who represents Bihor County, informed the Permanent Bureau of the Chamber that starting from Tuesday he is no longer part of the POT group, and his request has been acknowledged by the Permanent Bureau.

This change comes in the context of the political dynamics in Parliament, and Cîmpan was previously elected on the electoral lists of POT. This move could influence both his legislative activity and the political strategy of the PSD group.
