In a solemn ceremony, the Constitutional Court validated Nicușor Dan as President of Romania by unanimous vote. He thanked voters for the massive turnout and emphasized the responsibility of his mandate. Dan promised to fight for the strengthening of state institutions, economic prosperity and citizens' freedoms. Interim President Ilie Bolojan emphasized the importance of fair and democratic elections and wished the new President success.
