Ciprian Ciucu, PNL first vice-president, proposes a pre-campaign and debates between PNL and USR to choose the candidate for the Bucharest City Hall, left vacant by Nicușor Dan. Ciucu, who is targeting this position, said he senses public and party support at the national level, but not at the PNL Bucharest branch. He emphasized the importance of a candidacy based on the citizens' vote and called for a joint poll to assess the chances.
