The mayor of Bucharest, Ciprian Ciucu, stated that President Nicușor Dan could have avoided a governmental crisis through clear communication with PSD, waiting for the rotation of prime ministers. Ciucu emphasized that, currently, Dan collaborates more effectively with PSD than with PNL, stating that the liberals no longer wish to be considered "the PSD's backup." He also criticized USR for its lack of experience in governance and characterized PSD as an anti-reformist party, marked by corruption issues.
The mayor mentioned that Romania has never had early elections, suggesting that this could only be possible if Nicușor Dan were to propose prime ministers who would not obtain the Parliament's vote.
