Ciprian Ciucu, first vice president of PNL, stated that President Nicușor Dan should approach PSD leader Sorin Grindeanu to convey the importance of political stability in the context of the B9 summit in Bucharest. Ciucu believes that the political crisis generated by PSD is disrespectful to Romania, which will host 17 state leaders.
"Perhaps he can take Mr. Grindeanu aside, because the B9 is coming up. I am not the one who disrespects the President of Romania; Mr. Grindeanu has brought this political crisis at a time when Mr. Nicușor Dan will host this very important security meeting as the President of Romania. 17 heads of state and government are coming to Bucharest; it was exactly the moment Romania and Mr. Nicușor Dan needed to present themselves as a leader that brings stability to the region; Romania is a serious partner. And what will they find when they come to Bucharest? A country that is truly in a political crisis, so I am not the one who disrespects Mr. Dan, but Mr. Grindeanu, because he puts the President of Romania in this situation," stated Ciprian Ciucu.
