The leader of the liberals, Ilie Bolojan, asked on Monday evening, after a meeting of the PNL in the National Political Bureau, the President of Romania, Nicușor Dan, to resume consultations with parliamentary parties, considering the "manner" in which Adrian Veștea was appointed for the position of prime minister, namely the "nomination of a first vice-president without consultation".
"Given the situation we find ourselves in, consultations are necessary and the request from the PNL to the President of Romania is to resume consultations in order to have a government supported in a transparent manner," said Ilie Bolojan.
