Former President Traian Basescu said that a minority government is not a viable solution for Romania and accused PSD and PNL of being responsible for the country's current situation. Basescu stressed that these parties need to reform as voters have rejected their old leaders. He warned that a withdrawal of PSD from government would be cowardly and proposed the formation of a stable government including PSD, PNL, UDMR, USR and minorities in order to implement the necessary reforms.
