The motion of censure initiated by AUR, entitled "They ruined the country and now they are forcing Romanians to pay the bill", will be presented on Thursday in Parliament. It comes in reaction to the Bolojan Government's assumption of responsibility on a package of fiscal measures to reduce the budget deficit. The AUR accuses the executive of usurping power and wasting money, saying Romanians are forced to pay for the government's mistakes. The motion reviews the measures taken since 2019 to date and warns of the economic impact of the proposed new taxes. If the motion is passed, the government will be dismissed; if not, the tax measures will take effect.
