Senator Petrișor Peiu, leader of the Alliance for the Union of Romanians (AUR), harshly criticized the governing coalition, describing it as a politically flawed construction due to the diversity of the political forces involved and the divergences on insignificant issues. In an interview with the Insider Politic show, Peiu stated that the atmosphere in Parliament is often conflictual, with politicians arguing over minor issues, which affects the government's efficiency. He emphasized that the Bolojan government is not united and that its design has been erroneous, considering it includes four parties and national minorities with divergent interests. Peiu provided examples of legislative stagnation, such as the blocking of the law for electing mayors in two rounds due to the opposition from UDMR. He concluded that such internal conflicts make the coalition dysfunctional, highlighting that some bills have not been adopted due to the absence of coalition members.
