AUR and Fratelli d'Italia, Giorgia Meloni's party, have launched a European network for local communities.

Today, AUR and Fratelli d'Italia, the conservative party of Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, announced the creation of a European network for collaboration between local communities, supported by the political family of the European Conservatives and Reformists (ECR). Ramona Lovin, AUR MP, emphasized the importance of collaboration at the local level, stating that politics takes place at the grassroots level, where citizens are involved. Federico Rocca, municipal councilor of Rome and representative of Fratelli d'Italia, mentioned that many Romanians support the party in Italy and highlighted the common values that unite the two formations.

The new network aims to create direct links between local communities in ECR member states, facilitating collaboration between local administrations and the development of joint projects for the benefit of citizens. This initiative also aims to demonstrate that conservative parties can achieve positive things for Europe.
