Radu Miruță, the Minister of Economy, stated that the National Authority for Consumer Protection (ANPC) issues minutes of fines but does not register them, which has led to a loss of 15.6 million lei between 2024 and August 2025.

In 2024, 205 minutes worth 1.8 million lei were not sent for enforcement, and 1413 were collected at half of the minimum, generating a loss of 5.5 million lei. In 2025, the number of unregistered minutes doubled, reaching 533. Miruță sent the Control Body to ANPC to identify the individuals involved in these illegal practices and extended the control over previous years, highlighting the risks of recovering debts from dissolved companies.
