Anamaria Gavrilă, the president of the Young People's Party (POT), made a statement at the end of the consultations with President Nicușor Dan, stating that the formation completely dissociates itself from the behavior of AUR.


Gavrilă emphasized that POT parliamentarians support a pro-Western and pro-American form of governance, wishing to contribute to projects and laws that "are for Romanians".


During the press conference at the Cotroceni Palace, she mentioned that the discussion with the head of state was "constructive" and highlighted the "reasonable" behavior of POT in the current crisis, insisting on the need to address political "battles" with maturity.


Gavrilă criticized AUR's behavior, stating that it is essential to collaborate to overcome the current crisis, instead of creating political spectacle: "We completely dissociate ourselves from AUR's behavior. We believe it would have been a much more mature situation to understand that now the battle is with the Bolojan-USR government, which has not yet been removed".
