PNL Deputy Alina Gorghiu stated in a video posted on social media that she learned about the future of the National Liberal Party (PNL) from TV shows, emphasizing that the decision to run on joint lists with USR was communicated "as a fait accompli," without internal debate or consultations with county organizations.
Gorghiu asserted that a liberal-conservative party should make decisions through debate and voting, not through public announcements.
Her criticisms come in the wake of statements by PNL President Ilie Bolojan, who suggested the need for an electoral alliance for the upcoming local elections. Bolojan mentioned that it is important for parties to collaborate, but each should maintain its distinct identity. He emphasized that PNL does not want to become a clone of other parties, but rather to represent liberal-conservative values.
Gorghiu insisted on the importance of internal consultation before making such decisions.
