The designated Prime Minister Adrian Veștea stated on Radio Romania Actualități that he will take over "in full" the government program of the PNL president, Ilie Bolojan, without making any changes.
Veștea acknowledged that the president's decision surprised his colleagues in the party, but emphasized that he will act responsibly in forming the government. He also mentioned that he sent a message to Bolojan after the nomination, but did not receive a response. Veștea received assurances from President Nicușor Dan that he will have a parliamentary majority, which is essential for governance.
He emphasized the need for renegotiations to evaluate projects funded by European funds, stating that Romania needs an efficient and responsible government. Veștea expressed his optimism regarding the formation of a stable government.
