The designated Prime Minister Adrian Veștea is set to have a meeting on Tuesday, at 11:00 AM, at Vila Lac, with the PACE parliamentary group - Together Romania, in an attempt to gain the necessary support in Parliament, according to sources cited by Digi24.
Although the National Liberal Party (PNL) has asked him to resign, Veștea has not done so and will discuss with PACE at 11:00 AM. After this meeting, Veștea will also have discussions with representatives of the Social Democratic Party.
The PNL's decision not to support Veștea was made on Monday, after President Nicușor Dan surprisingly announced the nomination of another PNL member as Prime Minister, which generated tensions within the party.
In a meeting to discuss support for Adrian Veștea, UDMR is also present, at 10:30 AM.
