Adrian Cozma, Vice President of the Chamber of Deputies, accused the PSD of violating the coalition protocol by voting for the simple motion against Diana Buzoianu. He emphasized that it is clearly stated that there should be no vote for the dismissal of the Government and the ministers, which generated discontent among the liberals. Cozma criticized Buzoianu, stating that, although her resignation is not necessary, she must take measures following the water crisis in Prahova, where 110,000 people were left without water.
Although he believes that the current partnership is not healthy, he acknowledges that, mathematically speaking, the coalition is the only solution. He mentioned that the situation will also be discussed within the party, and the president of UDMR, Kelemen Hunor, supported Cozma's accusations, indicating that the PSD vote violated the coalition protocol. Discussions on this topic are expected in the governing coalition meeting.
