The UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) announced on Tuesday that the alert has been in place from 10:00 BST on Wednesday until 10:00 on July 15. The UKHSA said the forecast high temperatures are expected to have "significant impacts" on health and social care services. Five other regions in England will also be covered by the yellow warning, while the Met Office said it expects to see temperatures topping 32C (90F) over the weekend.
