Romania will benefit from €60.2 billion of EU funds for agriculture and cohesion in the 2028-2034 budget, a significant increase from the €46.8 billion in the current budget. These funds target investments in transport, digital infrastructure, education and health, as well as subsidies for farmers. The proposal will be negotiated with member states and the European Parliament, and Romania will be able to attract additional funds for security and research projects.
