Minister of Foreign Affairs Oana Țoiu said that identity documents and birth certificates for Romanians in the diaspora will remain free of charge, stressing the importance of access to essential services. Although a fee will be introduced for certain consular services, details will be published soon. Țoiu said that it is necessary to find solutions to keep these services free of charge, while ensuring transparency on fees.
