Romanian Foreign Minister Oana Țoiu said that Romania must make effective use of the consultation mechanisms within the European Union in the context of Donald Trump's announcement of tariff increases. She emphasized that decisions are not taken without Romania and that the country has an equal voting power in the EU. Țoiu said that the Romanian authorities will work more actively with the business community and those affected by these decisions, given that negotiation at EU level gives Romania an advantageous position.
