The vegetation fire was localized by law enforcement, one man was injured and transported to hospital.

The flames spread rapidly, but the intervention of the police managed to stop the fire spreading towards the nature reserve. A 46-year-old man found near the affected area was medically assessed and transported to hospital due to smoke exposure. Seven fire-fighting vehicles, SMURD crews and water tankers were mobilized to manage the fire. The intervention is continuing to extinguish the remaining fires and prevent reignition.
