A fire broke out at a warehouse next to an old people's home in Ilfov. An elderly man was found dead, and 34 people were evacuated.

On Saturday afternoon, a fire broke out in the locality of Cornetu, Ilfov County, at a warehouse located next to a nursing home. Firefighters from ISU Bucharest-Ilfov intervened to extinguish the fire, which affected a warehouse of approximately 20 square meters. Unfortunately, a deceased person, an elderly man, was found inside the warehouse. The fire did not spread to the nursing home; however, 34 people, including 3 employees, were evacuated as a precautionary measure. Among them, two individuals suffered panic attacks and required medical attention. Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances of the fire.
