On Saturday, a fire broke out in the basement of a building on Calea Plevnei in Sector 6 of the Capital, where a spa center operates. According to ISUBIF, the fire was localized over an area of approximately 80 square meters, and 45 people were evacuated from the building. One person suffered burns and received medical care on-site but refused transport to the hospital. Intervention crews were alerted, including 10 fire trucks, one intervention and rescue vehicle from heights, as well as SMURD ambulances. Additionally, search and rescue teams were formed to identify and evacuate people from the area. Authorities issued a RO-ALERT message, asking residents to avoid the area and to keep access routes clear for the rescue teams.
