For more than 24 hours, firefighters in Prahova have been facing a major fire that broke out in a non-hazardous waste depot in Ariceștii Rahtivani. The flames have affected an area of over 3,500 square meters, and the intervention is complicated by the strong wind, which hinders the extinguishing of the fire.

The authorities have issued a RO-Alert message to inform the population about the dense smoke released and the possible dangers. Five fire engines and foam trucks, two water tankers, and a ladder truck have been sent to the scene to support the extinguishing operations. The fire has not yet been extinguished, and firefighters continue to fight the flames.
