A family from Iasi is suspected of stealing a safe with cash and jewelry from the home of businessmen. Five suspects have been caught by police.

The theft took place on January 12, when two young men smashed the surveillance cameras at the home of a businessman in Hârlău, Iași county, then broke through the kitchen window and stole a metal safe containing 500,000 lei, 30,000 euro and jewelry. The thieves were caught and investigators recovered the full amount.
