In a debate, Crin Antonescu discussed the role of the President in emergency situations such as earthquakes. He said that although the president has no direct powers in disaster management, it is essential to inform, act and communicate effectively to reassure citizens. Antonescu emphasized that the President must work with the Prime Minister and the Emergency Situations Committee, with public information as a priority.
