A 41-year-old man from Sibiu died of measles after being treated at home and initially refusing hospitalization.

The 41-year-old man presented to the hospital with symptoms of measles, but initially refused ICU admission and oxygen. Subsequently, his family requested his discharge and he died shortly after returning to hospital. The patient had other serious medical conditions and his vaccination status was unknown.
