Samsung has unveiled the Z TriFold, its first smartphone that folds in three ways, after a period of teasers.

The internal screen has a diagonal of 10 inches, with a resolution of 2160 x 1584 pixels and an adaptive refresh rate between 1Hz and 120Hz, allowing the use of three applications simultaneously. The external screen measures 6.5 inches, having a 1080p resolution. The thickness of the panels varies between 3.9 and 4.2 millimeters, and when folded, the smartphone has a thickness of 12.9 millimeters. The Z TriFold benefits from an IP48 certification for water resistance, but not for dust. The camera system includes three cameras, and the device is equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and 16GB of RAM.

The launch in South Korea is scheduled for December 12, at a price of approximately $2,440, but the launch date in Europe is not yet clear.
