Netflix announced on Tuesday that it has entered into partnerships with various media groups to broadcast short video clips on its platform, an important step in adapting to current content consumption trends. These clips, lasting between 3 and 20 minutes, will be available in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand starting in August.

Among Netflix's partners are giants in the publishing field such as Condé Nast, Hearst Magazines, PMX, People Inc, BuzzFeed, and Tastemade. This move comes in response to the popularity of short formats, influenced by platforms like TikTok and YouTube.

John Derderian, vice president of Netflix, emphasized that subscribers want to explore their favorite stories and characters after watching a movie or series, which justifies this expansion of content.
