Meta Platforms has announced that, starting December 16, it will use user interactions with its digital assistant Meta AI to personalize ads and content on Facebook and Instagram. Users will be informed about this change starting October 7. Meta AI, which has over 1 billion monthly active users, will adapt content recommendations. The change will also be implemented in the UK and EU, complying with local regulations.
