Meta Platforms, Facebook's parent company, plans to raise $29 billion to develop artificial intelligence data centers in the United States. The company is negotiating with investment funds such as Apollo Global Management and KKR, seeking $3 billion in equity and $26 billion in debt. This comes amid massive investment in AI, with Mark Zuckerberg estimating spending up to $65 billion by 2025 to expand AI infrastructure.
