Apple has integrated a brain-computer interface (BCI) protocol into its Switch Control feature, allowing users to interact with iOS and iPadOS devices through thoughts. The Synchron firm will launch an implantable BCI, Stentrode, which will allow control of iPhones and iPads through brain activity.
