The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, has signaled a possible intensification of drone attacks by Russia, including during the day, indicating a change in tactics from Moscow. During the night, Russian forces launched 139 drones, and the Ukrainian air defense managed to shoot down 111 of them.
The attacks targeted railway infrastructure and civilian areas, prompting officials in Kyiv to accuse Russia of increasing pressure on the civilian population. Zelensky emphasized that these raids conducted in broad daylight aim to cause significant disruptions in the daily lives of citizens. Although the Kremlin denies deliberately targeting civilians, the intensification of attacks raises concerns about the safety of the population.
