On April 5, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that Russia has provided Iran with satellite information about over 50 Israeli energy facilities. This statement comes in the context of Russia's military support for Tehran, according to Zelensky's declarations. He emphasized that these attacks target civilian infrastructure without military purpose, recalling the Russian bombings in Ukraine. Since the beginning of American-Israeli operations against Iran, Ukraine has accused Russia of helping Tehran with information, having undeniable evidence in this regard. Moscow has acknowledged that it provided information to Iran but proposed to stop doing so if the U.S. no longer helps Kyiv.

The American president, Donald Trump, downplayed this threat, stating that it does not represent a major problem. Relations between Russia and Iran have deepened, and Tehran has supplied drones and military equipment to Russian forces. Iranian drones, especially the Shahed type, have been used against Ukraine and have caused a blockage of traffic through the Strait of Hormuz, affecting global energy prices. Zelensky concluded that Russia's experience in the war in Ukraine is being transferred to Iran.
