The Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky made a visit to the Middle East, aiming to promote Ukraine's expertise in countering drone attacks, in the context of Iranian threats. Zelensky emphasized that the experience gained in the war with Russia, where Iranian drones have been used, can be leveraged in cooperation with states in the region.
In his message, he mentioned important agreements with Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and Qatar, as well as collaboration with Jordan and Kuwait. Additionally, Bahrain and Oman expressed their interest in similar partnerships. The discussions included cooperation in the field of air defense, the development of arms production, and the supply of diesel fuel, essential for Ukraine's defense and agricultural needs. Zelensky highlighted that these initiatives are not just a matter of prestige, but also a practical aspect for national security.
