The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, announced that he is "satisfied" with the results of a 40-day campaign aimed at forcing Russia to end the war.
This operation, launched by the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) in June, culminated in the destruction of dozens of Russian oil tankers supplying Crimea and several depots across the country.
Zelensky emphasized that Ukraine has managed to effectively respond to Russian logistical attacks, causing significant losses to Russia, estimated at one trillion rubles. Although the war continues, Ukrainian officials mentioned that the goal of the campaign was to influence the elections in Russia by creating direct consequences for the population.
Zelensky warned that attacks on Russian logistics will continue, emphasizing that Ukraine targets military facilities, while Russia intensifies attacks on Ukrainian cities.
Recently, an attack on Kyiv resulted in the deaths of four people, including a child.
