Volodymyr Zelensky will have meetings in Kyiv on Friday with Antonio Costa, the President of the European Council, and Robert Fico, the Slovak Prime Minister, to address energy issues, including the gradual elimination of Russian oil deliveries through Ukraine. Slovakia, dependent on Russian oil, has recently been affected by attacks on energy infrastructure. Additionally, Donald Trump emphasized the need for European countries to stop buying fuel from Russia, while the EU also proposes to eliminate Russian energy by 2027. The EU Commissioner for Energy confirmed that these issues will be discussed with American officials.
