Matthew Whitaker said Ukrainian President Volodimir Zelenski could attend the summit in Alaska, where Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin will meet on August 15. European leaders want Ukraine included in US-Russia talks. Although Zelensky is not scheduled to attend, he has urged European allies to work together on a common approach. The final decision on the invitation rests with Trump, Whitaker emphasized.
