The British Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) has ruled that Zara must remove two images from its website, accusing them of promoting 'unhealthy thinness'. The images, which feature a model with a pronounced collarbone and very thin legs, were deemed inappropriate. Although Zara claimed that it had followed the rules and obtained medical certificates for its models, the ASA has asked for the images to be taken down. The brand has confirmed that the images have been removed following this decision.
