A recent study has revealed that Wizz Air has been rated as the UK's most unpunctual airline in 2023. The analysis considered all scheduled and charter departures from UK airports of airlines operating more than 2500 flights. Canceled flights were not included. The average delay for all these flights was 20 minutes and 42 seconds, down from 23 minutes in 2022. Wizz Air was ranked as the most unpunctual airline, despite a fare increase. Low-cost carrier departures from UK airports had an average delay of 31 minutes and 36 seconds in 2023, according to analysis of Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) data by news agency PA.
