Aleksandar Vucic, the president of Serbia, stated that he was the victim of an assassination attempt, accusing that his child was also targeted by acts of violence. Two suspects from Kraljevo have been arrested by Serbian authorities, accused of conspiracy to overthrow the constitutional order and of procuring weapons to attack the president.

Vucic made these statements at a press conference in Belgrade, emphasizing that the suspects would have had extreme violent intentions, including threats to "murder" his child. Although he does not know the exact identity of the suspects, he mentioned that they are from the same locality and described the brutal nature of their plan, suggesting that they relied on false information.
