Protests against a bill promoted by Argentine President Javier Milei have intensified in the capital Buenos Aires, where violent clashes occurred between protesters and law enforcement.

The bill, currently under debate in the Senate, is criticized by the opposition for facilitating the eviction of individuals who illegally occupy private land. Hundreds of protesters gathered near the Senate, and the demonstration escalated into clashes with the police, who intervened to disperse the crowd. The opposition and social organizations argue that the law could affect vulnerable individuals, while supporters claim that it strengthens the protection of private property.

The bill is part of Milei's ultraliberal economic agenda, which aims to reduce state intervention in the economy. Political tensions in Argentina continue to rise, and the opposition has announced that it will continue protests against government measures.
