A teenager was the victim of a violent attack at Joubert-Émilien Maillard, an educational institution in France, where no violent incidents had been reported before. According to Le Figaro, the girl was stabbed multiple times in the abdomen, and firefighters intervened urgently, transporting her in serious condition to the university hospital in Nantes. The sub-prefect and officials from the Loire-Atlantique prefecture went to the scene to assess the situation. Following the attack, the school administration triggered an anti-intrusion alert, isolating students in classrooms. The assailant, a schoolmate, was quickly subdued by gendarmes. The incident has stirred painful memories, considering a similar case in the same region, when a 15-year-old student was killed last year. Authorities have opened an investigation to clarify the circumstances of the attack, and students and teaching staff will receive psychological support.
