The President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, stated that she welcomes the "significant progress" made during the discussions at Mar-a-Lago regarding the peace plan for Ukraine.

"Significant progress has been made, which I welcomed. Europe is ready to continue collaborating with Ukraine and our American partners to strengthen this progress. For this effort, solid security guarantees are essential from day one," Von der Leyen specified.
