Ukrainian authorities ordered the evacuation of 409 families from 40 localities near the city of Kupiansk due to the intensification of Russian attacks.

The governor of the Kharkiv region, Oleh Syniehubov, announced that 409 families, including 601 children, have been urged to leave 27 localities. Subsequently, the list was expanded to 40, according to another official from the affected area. President Zelensky emphasized the importance of defending key areas, including Kupiansk.
